Malibu to Las Vegas is approximately 290 miles, about 4.5 hours. The route starts on PCH before connecting to the I-15. We recommend morning departures for the fastest travel time.
From eastern Malibu, PCH to the 10 east through the city is usually quickest; from western Malibu, Kanan Dume Road or Malibu Canyon to the 101 and across the Valley can be better. The driver picks based on your address and live traffic. Either way, the route joins the I-15 in the Inland Empire for the desert crossing.
The drive is around four and a half hours without stops, so a 10 AM departure on a weekday usually reaches the Strip by mid-afternoon. On Fridays, leaving before noon avoids most of the eastbound buildup through the Inland Empire. Add 30–45 minutes if you plan a lunch stop in Barstow.
A one-way ride (about 290 miles) is $1,385 in Business Class, $1,985 in Business SUV, $2,710 in First Class. That is the fixed price for a typical pickup in Malibu; the exact price for your address is shown before you pay, with no surge pricing and free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.
