What companies book a car for

Most business trips in Los Angeles fall into one of these.

    Airport pickups for visiting executives

Your chauffeur tracks the flight into LAX, Hollywood Burbank, Long Beach or John Wayne, meets the traveler in arrivals with a name sign and drives straight to the hotel or the office.

    Roadshow and meeting days

Book a block of hours and the car waits between back-to-back meetings in Century City, Downtown and Santa Monica, so nobody hunts for a ride or a parking spot between stops.

    Client and candidate pickups

Send a car for a client coming in for dinner or a final-round candidate coming to the office. The chauffeur is outside 15 minutes before the pickup time, and the ride goes on the company account.

    Studio and production days

Lots in Burbank and Culver City, such as Warner Bros., Walt Disney Studios and Sony Pictures, run on gate lists. Put the gate and any drive-on details from your host in the notes for your chauffeur.

    Conferences and conventions

Move a team between the hotel and the Los Angeles, Anaheim or Long Beach convention center in a Sprinter van for up to 12, booked by the hour for each show day.

    Team offsites

Take a team of 12 to Terranea in Palos Verdes, a Malibu retreat or Pelican Hill in Newport Beach in one Sprinter, or split a larger group across vans and SUVs leaving at the same time.

    How a roadshow day runs

An example of an 8-hour booking for an investor or sales roadshow.

    1. 1

      Send the schedule

Book an 8-hour block, enter the first pickup and add up to three stops. List the remaining meeting addresses and times in the notes for your chauffeur.

    2. 2

      Start at the hotel

The chauffeur is at the hotel entrance 15 minutes before pickup, with bottled water, phone chargers and Wi-Fi ready for last-minute prep on the way to the first meeting.

    3. 3

      Between meetings

The car parks nearby while you are inside and returns to the entrance when you are done. Century City to Downtown is only about 11 miles, but give it 30 to 45 minutes at rush hour.

    4. 4

      Finish at the airport

End the day at LAX or Hollywood Burbank Airport. From Downtown, LAX is about 18 miles, so in the late afternoon leave an hour before you need to be at the curb.

    5. 5

      One invoice

With a company account the whole day goes on your monthly invoice. Without one, the full fare is charged to a card when you book.

    Which car to send

Every car has Wi-Fi, phone chargers and bottled water, and is detailed daily.

    • Business Class (Mercedes-Benz E-Class or similar): one traveler or two colleagues, up to 3 passengers and about 3 bags. The usual pick for airport runs.
    • First Class (Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes-Benz S-Class or similar): board members, visiting CEOs and client hosting, up to 6 passengers.
    • Business SUV (Chevrolet Suburban or similar): a deal team or crew flying in together, up to 6 passengers and about 6 bags.
    • Sprinter van: up to 12 people for offsites, site visits and conference shuttles, booked hourly with a 3-hour minimum.
    • More than 12 people: book several vehicles for the same pickup time, or pair a Sprinter with an SUV for executives who need to leave early.

    Setting up a corporate account

A corporate account replaces a card charge on every ride with one invoice at the end of the month. Request one on our Business page; once it is set up, rides booked for your team and your guests go on that invoice.

Every booking, with or without an account, has a fixed price shown before you pay and no surge at rush hour or on event nights. Cancelling 24 hours or more before pickup is free, which helps when meeting schedules move.

Chauffeurs are background-checked, and LA Limo Services operates under California PUC charter-party permit TCP0049714-B. Keep the permit number on file if your travel or procurement team asks how ground transportation is vetted.

    Corporate Transportation questions

Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp or call (213) 376-1699.

Can my company get one monthly invoice instead of paying per ride?

Yes. Companies with a corporate account are billed once a month instead of paying by card at each booking. You can request an account on our Business page, and until it is set up any ride can be booked and paid by card at the fixed price shown.

Can an assistant book a car for an executive or a visiting client?

Yes. Book the ride as usual and add the passenger’s name and mobile number in the notes for your chauffeur, along with details like the terminal or the building entrance. For airport pickups the chauffeur meets them in arrivals with a name sign.

What happens if the executive’s flight lands early or is delayed?

Add the flight number when you book and we track it, so the chauffeur plans around the actual landing time instead of the scheduled one. That works the same at LAX, Hollywood Burbank, Long Beach and John Wayne.

Should we book hourly or one-way for a day of meetings?

Book hourly when there are two or more stops or the end time is uncertain: the car and chauffeur stay with you, with a 2-hour minimum. A single trip, like LAX to a hotel in Santa Monica, is simpler as a one-way ride.

Where does the car wait while we are in a meeting?

On an hourly booking the chauffeur parks nearby while you are inside and pulls up to the entrance when you are ready. In Century City and Downtown, where the curb is busy, a quick call a few minutes before you come down saves time.

Can you move a team to an offsite or a convention?

Yes. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people and is booked by the hour with a 3-hour minimum, which suits hotel-to-convention-center runs in Downtown, Anaheim or Long Beach. For bigger groups, book several vehicles for the same time.

What is the cancellation policy for business bookings?

Cancelling 24 hours or more before pickup is free. Between 12 and 24 hours the fee is 25% of the fare, between 6 and 12 hours it is 50%, and under 6 hours or a no-show is charged in full.

Do you pick up in Orange County for business trips?

Yes. Pickups run anywhere in Los Angeles and Orange County, including the Irvine Business Complex and John Wayne Airport, and drop-offs can be anywhere. An Irvine office to a Downtown LA meeting, for example, is about 40 miles each way.
